Um... Why?

A recent phone call from my three year old grandson...
*Note:  Tutu is Hawai'ian for Grandma
"Hi Tutu!"
"Well hello there!"
"Um, Tutu?... are you gonna come to my house?"
"Actually, just Papa and Uncle are going to come to your house; Tutu can't come this time."
"Oh.  Why can't you come?  Because you're a girl?"
"Well, no.  I have to go to work at the office."
"Oh.  At the post office, Tutu?"
"Well, no.  I work at the doctor's office, but I'm not sick.  Isn't that funny?"
"But Papa is coming to my house?"
"Yes!"
"Are you gonna come with Papa?"
"I'm sorry, Honey, not this time."
"Oh..."
"I love you!"
"Um... Can Papa and Tutu come to my house?"...

I can relate to my grandson.  I am in the midst of writer's block, an interesting phenomenon that arrives precisely when it's not wanted.  Of course, it's never wanted.

There are so many thing about the human mind that no one understands.  And within the pockets of bountiful understand, wisdom moments and creative surges, none of us can even scratch the surface of beginning to understand God and His Ways.

"Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is too high, I cannot attain to it."
~Psalm 139:6
